Negris Group is a wholly owned Nigerian integrated energy solutions company.

Through its different strategic business units (SBUs), it provides services to critical sectors of the economy such as energy, oil and gas, and manufacturing.

The company was established about three decades ago and it was then known as Capital Equipment Limited.

A heritage of achievements

Our track record and technical competence is outstanding.

To date, we have successfully completed projects associated with pipelines, flow stations, gas plant, oil production platform, power stations, and water injection platforms.

We stand out as one of the first companies in Nigeria to be granted a license to operate an independent power plant. The license covers generation, distribution and transmission of electricity anywhere in Nigeria.

We are a firm believer in Nigeria. And this has informed our further investment in the economy. In mid 2008, we acquired the assets of the Nigerian Newsprint Manufacturing Company (NNMC), Oku Iboku, Akwa Ibom State. Prior to this acquisition, NNMC was federal government-owned and had been moribund for 15 years. The company is currently being rehabilitated by foreign technical experts.

Sticking to this high standard has earned us the NIS ISO 9000:2000 Certificate for Quality Management System, awarded the company in 2005 by the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON). This is a testimony to Negris’ unerring drive towards quality and constant adherence to international standards
